GENERAL
Caravans can be lightly modified to your requirements at little extra cost. It is possible that you order other sorts of wood but we don't recommend this because the deal wood that we use is good enough.
Transport prices vary on destination and if the transport can be done in combination with other transports. Ask us for a quotation.
Delivery time depends mainly on other orders but usually you can expect your new caravan in about 5 months.
With tender loving care and modern stains a caravan can last a life time. Caravans have only been coated twice so you can still decide if you want to make the wood look darker.
A gypsy caravan is like a Chesterfield couch. By using it it gains character and becomes more beautiful over the years.
Thanks to their classic and charming appearance our caravans are on sites where modern caravans and mobile homes had to be removed.
People that have to come from far to look at our caravans can have dinner with us and spend the night in a caravan. This costs 70 € for 2 persons which you will get back when you actually buy one.If you want a new caravan before the summer of
2007 you better order now. Most of our clients order in springtime but then it is impossible for us to delivery
to everyone before the summer.
A road-legal version of model B is now (finally!) ready. It has dutch registration and can be visited in
Ajoux. It features 6 woodcarved panels at the side of the doors and has of course a modern chassis with good brakes
etc it costs 18.740 euros. Put it behind your car and see the world!

In spite of heavy opposition from french authorities – apparently they don’t
want small businesses in this country – les Roulottes du Travers is doing pretty good.
We build and sold over 60 new caravans and we are rather busy so If you want one before the summer you must order soon.
We can now offer a road-legal Model B. We think we can soon do the same with a model P. With a horse or a tractor you can take any model caravan anywhere you want.
